Program Overview:

pic9This is an intensive preparation course designed for students who want both a high score on the test and the general English skills necessary for success in post-secondary institutions in Canada and USA. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) assesses the English ability of those whose first language is not English.

Length 15 lessons per week for 3 months
Prerequisite SGA High Intermediate
Class Size 8 to 12 max. Students

The New TOEFL (TEST OF ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE) practice classes are designed to give English students a real advantage in passing the new internet based TOEFL. The course will greatly assist students in improving their score on the TOEFL exam by 15-25%. The course is divided into the four sections of the new TOEFL exam: Writing, Listening, Speaking and Reading Comprehension.
Each week specializes on a particular component of the exam outlining the different skills needed to do the exam effectively. Sample test questions will allow students to learn, test-takers strategies to ensure success.
Students will participate in classroom activities to build their language skills, identify and focus on any problem areas of study. The classroom also offers an opportunity to network with other like-minded students.
